Do you remove and replace baseboards or just use quarter-round?
We recommend baseboard removal and replacement whenever possible. The new floor tucks neatly underneath, so you get the cleanest, most professional finish with no gaps to cover. Quarter-round is a lower-cost option when baseboards can't be removed. We'll show you both choices at your free estimate and put your pick in writing.
Can luxury vinyl planks, laminate, or hybrid flooring be installed over uneven concrete in basements?
Yes, once the concrete is prepped. These floors need a flat, dry surface, so we handle subfloor grinding and leveling: we grind down high spots, fill low spots, and check for moisture before installing. For basements, we usually recommend waterproof hybrid flooring or luxury vinyl planks for the best protection.
